ENGINE

The engine drives us and our training aims to create a robust engine able to handle the demands of performance sports. We have 3 main energy systems that drive us. Each has a specifc roles, limitations and endocrine responses. Our approach trains each energy system appropriately for your sport and uses our proprietary algorithym to evalute the impact a specfic session has on your body.

CHASSIS

Each training session has a different stress on our musculoskeletal system which we take into account when assigning training. Combining the impact of training on our engine with the impact on our chassis gives us a clear cut way to quantify training loads. By doing so we can assign appropriate recovery and maximize the overall effecitiveness of your training block! Minimize injury to maximize performance!

FUEL

How we train should dictate how fuel! The types of fuel and timing of the fueling should correspond with the needs of a particular training session! Quality over quantity is the key to effective training. We acheive maximial physiological response by making sure your engine is topped off, minimizing injury by making sure your chassis isn't breaking down. The fuel drive the engine and protects the chassis.

The KINESIS APPROACH is a unique way to approach strength training and endurance coaching. Have careful integrated peices of training to fluidly coexist with one another. Think of a well oiled machine like an NFL or Tour de France team. Each peice of the puzzle fits perfectly together: physiology, application and practicality come together to form KINESIS - Latin for “movement”.

STRENGTH: We look at over 70 variables when evaluating yourself and the demands of your athletic season. Strength is not just lifting weights. Integrated into our system and coaching are how you should fuel…With what? When? How often? Also integrated into our systems are full mobility programs designed based on your personal needs via an assessment. Our approach has been selected as the premier approach for endurance athletes and is the official coach’s course for Training Peaks. The methods and practices have been TESTED, APPLIED AND HONED over time and have helped all of our athletes reach personal bests; including 6 OLYMPIANS, and many many world championship athletes.
